5 Days Akagera and Nyungwe National Parks

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by your driver guide who will drive you on a 2-hour drive to Akagera. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel, have lunch and then go for a boat ride at Lake Ihema, have a view of the sunset and also see some of the water animals. For the bird lover, you will be able to see different bird species. Akagera Game Lodge

Early in the morning, after your breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in search of the big 5 and also see other animals that you didn’t get to see yesterday. We will then have our packed lunch as we continue to exit the park to Kigali for overnight and dinner. Hotel 2000

Early in the morning, you will be picked up at 5:00 am after your breakfast and driven to Nyungwe. On your way, we shall have a stopover at the king’s palace and ethnographic centre, and learn about the history of Rwanda and its culture.

We shall have a lunch break in Butare, then continue for a coffee tour in the afternoon, learn about the process of coffee making, and get the chance to taste the end product, and also buy it if you wish to. Later, we shall proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we shall then head out for a canopy walk in Nyungwe forest, you will be guided throughout the 2 hours walk, as you make the walk you will listen to the melody of the birds’ sound, keep your eyes open as you may see some monkeys and for the birds’ lovers you might spot some birds and later proceed back to Kigali. Early in the morning, after your breakfast, we shall head out for a city tour where we shall visit the genocide memorial and then later head to Kimironko giant market for local food lunch and later proceed to the souvenir market to buy some gifts. You will then be driven to the airport for your departure.
