3 Days Primate And Cultural Tour

Nyungwe National Park lies in southwest Rwanda, partly abutting the Burundi border. It’s a vast area of mountain rain-forest, home to many species of chimpanzees, plus owl-faced and colobus monkeys. The Canopy Walkway, part of the Igishigishigi Trail, is a high suspension bridge with views over the valley and surrounding forests. A trail runs to the Kamiranzovu Marsh, with its birdlife, orchids and waterfall.
Pick up from hotel and transfer to Nyungwe Forest national park which is found in the Western part of the country arriving late in the evening. We will take a walk around the Guest house listening to the sounds of nature.

An early start for Uwinka and enjoy the whole morning tracking Chimps and return to the lodge during the heat of the day for lunch. In the Evening, go birding at Karamba or go Colobus Monkey tracking near Gisakura Tea Factory ending up in the Factory to witness how the famous Rwanda Tea is processed and return late for dinner and overnight.

In the morning after breakfast we shall check out and drive back to Kigali, on the Way, we shall visit Maraba Coffee washing station and the Coffee Quality control and testing laboratory, and also the National Museum of Rwanda which is one of the richest in Africa in terms of culture. After visiting the museum we shall have lunch in Butare and proceed to Nyanza to visit the King’s Palace museum and the Art Gallery Museum in Rwesero reaching. Then after advance to Kigali in the evening.
